You will operate in support of a variety of industries: you could be working at a cement works or an oil refinery one day and inside a sewage treatment plant or a Royal Navy vessel the next. All IS Operatives are specially trained to carry out the various aspects of the role which are all conducted under strict health and safety rules following rigorous assessment of the potential risks involved.

The Site Chemist (Transfer) is responsible for the safe running of the transfer station, managing the intakes and reception with a high degree of attention to safety, compliance, housekeeping, throughput and productivity.
To assist the Senior Site Chemist (Transfer) in the management of the operational process, maintaining and improve safety, environmental and quality standards.
Prioritisation to achieve agreed production targets and meeting customer service requirements. Providing technical advice as required to the plant and wider business.

You will be working as part of a team within the Treatment Plant, processing a wide range of liquid and solid waste chemicals at the waste treatment facility. The position is a varied role, assisting the other members of the team in the general Plant operations and ensuring compliance with the site Permit.
