The HSEQ Officer is a member of the Group HSEQ team, which supports all aspects of HSEQ compliance across the company. The role sits within the Corporate Stewardship team (CS team), which has overall responsibility for ensuring compliance with the Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) requirements associated with our site permits and our Integrated Management System. The CS team are custodians of the sustainability aspirations of the company through our Environmental Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) commitments.
The HSEQ Officer works directly with the site team at Honiton and other satellite sites across the Southwest and the operational functions to maintain high standards of safety, general health and environmental compliance.
We’re seeking a proactive and organised Marketing Assistant to join our expanding team. In this role, you’ll provide valuable support for bids while managing both online and offline marketing initiatives. Your solid knowledge of social media will be essential as you help drive our continued business growth through various marketing activities.
To carry out and administer the processing of waste through the Hazardous Waste Transfer Station in Honiton depot, assisting other operators as necessary to ensure continuous operation.
Business Development of Future Industrial Services, from securing new enquiries through to hand over to operations for service delivery – with a particular focus on development of general industrial services covering M5, M42, M6 and M40.
The sectors include (not exhaustive) ; Manufacturing, F&B, Automotive, Utilities, Chemical, Hygiene, Waste Management and Energy.
Services include but are not limited to wet industrial services (Jetting, Tankering, Jet Vac, CCTV, Tank entry and Cleaning), dry industrial services (DISAB) and onsite provision of labour and/or resource.
The role of the Industrial Services Operative is a rewarding role and very varied and the work ranges from
unskilled to highly skilled: you could be involved in general site cleaning one day and a confined space tank
clean with full breathing apparatus the next. You will operate in support of a variety of industries: you could
be working at a cement works or an oil refinery one day and inside a sewage treatment plant or a Royal Navy
vessel the next. All IS Operatives are specially trained to carry out the various aspects of the role which are
all conducted under strict health and safety rules following rigorous assessment of the potential risks
involved. Work is usually carried out at the convenience of the customer, so there will be a requirement to
travel and to work unsociable and often long hours to complete a job on schedule. There will be a
requirement to pass security clearance to gain entry to certain work sites.

To drive and operate LGV vehicles and plant to the greatest profitability, safety and efficiency according to instructions from the Operations Manager, having regard to safety of people, equipment, plant, vehicles, customers’ sites and disposal sites.
