We are delighted to announce that two of our hazardous waste recovery sites have been shortlisted as finalists for the 2022 National Recycling Awards. Future Industrial Services Limited are really pleased to be recognised for our ability to grow and develop innovations and processes that substantially improve performance whilst supporting the circular economy.
FIS Berwick-upon-Tweed has been nominated for the Recycled Product of the Year for FuturEtch.
By creating and adapting processes, services, technologies, products and application, the plant receives spent waste copper etchant, which goes through a toll recycling process where copper oxide is steam dried and packaged as product and fresh etchant is blended and decanted into containers with both being despatched back to the customer for re-use.
FIS Honiton in Devon has been nominated for the Recycling Facility of the Year.
Our newly redeveloped recovery facility demonstrates exemplary operation through innovation. Having challenged ourselves to be the best and inspire others by the standards set, the hazardous waste container exchange service has been recognised within this category. Providing a wide range of UN approved containers for waste streams such as aerosols, paint tins, solvents, flo tubes, Future has improved waste recovery performance and continues to look to deliver the wider benefits of re-use and waste prevention.
Good Luck!
