The Augean team started the week by setting up our stand at STEMFest 2025, held at the Vertu Motors Arena. The event brought together schools, colleges, and industry partners to celebrate and inspire the next generation of talent in science, technology, engineering and maths.
Located in the Environmental and Energy Zone (Zone 3), our stand showcased Augean’s work in managing complex and hazardous waste safely and sustainably. The display included an interactive waste sorting demonstration, highlighting processes such as decontamination, incineration, and landfill.
A bright orange PPE suit and safety gear added a practical touch, giving students a glimpse into the types of roles available within our industry.
STEMFest is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young people and demonstrate how STEM skills are essential in environmental management, innovation, and sustainability. With everything in place, the team are ready for three days of engaging conversations and discovery ahead.
