Both short and long breaks in nature have beneficial effects on the physical response to stress, and studies show that regular contact with nature and green spaces promotes better mental health.
As we are constantly exposed to deadlines, our Berwick team decided to do some walking in the fresh air and explore their local scenery.
Organised by Ryan Reay (Site Manager) The Cheviot Hills or sometimes known as The Cheviots, are a range of uplands straddling the Anglo-Scottish border between Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. The English section is within the Northumberland National Park and the range includes The Cheviot (the highest hill), plus Hedgehope Hill to the east, Windy Gyle to the west, and Cushat Law and Bloodybush Edge to the south.
The team decided to embark the challenge of the highest!
With beautiful blue skies, gorgeous sunshine and a bit of sunburn the challenge was completed!
