Future Industrial apprentices 2020

Samuel Thomas

I am currently studying a Level 3 AAT qualification which will take around 18 months for me to complete. I am currently working on the Advance Bookkeeping module with the Final Accounts Preparation, Management Accounting Costing and Indirect Tax modules left to study.

I have been at Future for over a month now working at the Hull depot. It has been very enjoyable learning about each aspect of the business and meeting many people I will be working with but also challenging to learn and carry out each task I have been given.

My future aspirations are to improve my financial literacy and my business knowledge, for this I would finish my Level 3 AAT and possibly move on to my Level 4.

Olivia Symes

I am currently studying Level 3 Business Administration; it will take around 14 months to complete. It covers various topics including stakeholders, project management, business finance, managing change within a business and business policies.

At the end of my apprenticeship I will complete a knowledge test, portfolio review and a presentation on a chosen improvement for the business. I am also looking into doing my level 2 bookkeeping through my apprenticeship provider.

I have been at Future for nearly 3 months in the Honiton Office, it is a great way of gaining real life experience whilst learning. I am looking forward to developing my understanding of business processes and overall operations of running a business.
